Appliances such as dishwashers, air conditioners, refrigerators, etc. are picked up on Fridays only. Please do not leave any household appliances at curbside without alerting the Recycling Department at 201-943-7363. -

The town is divided into the north and south sides, bisected by Route 5. Recycling pick-up alternates weekly between north and south. If you didn’t receive a calendar at the beginning of the year, please call the Recycling Department and a calendar will be sent to you or view the Calendar or APP online HERE

Leaves should be left at the curbside. Please do not put them in plastic or paper bags. Leaves will be picked up regularly from sometime in October until the middle of December. For exact dates in the fall, please check the borough calendar or call DPW @ 201-943-1700 Ext. 5000
