SUMMARY: Tropical Storm Isaias may impact the region late Monday night or early Tuesday with heavy rainfall and possibly tropical storm force wind gusts. While there are differing solutions on the storm track, the domestic model has been consistent in pushing this storm up the coast and accelerating the forward movement Sunday and Monday. This is certainly not set in stone – but we wanted to get out a “heads up” that there is the potential for heavy rain and possibly locally strong, gusty winds at some point either late Monday night or early Tuesday.
MAIN IMPACTS: Locally heavy rain with possible flooding. Potential for wind gusts in the 45-60 mph range.
GENERAL START TIME: Tuesday 3 am – 6 am
GENERAL END TIME: Tuesday 11 am – 3 pm
GENERAL OUTLOOK OF: 2-4 inches of rain and possible wind gusts of 45-60 mph.
